Class Options Include:
Beginning Vinyasa: Beginning Vinyasa is a great class for those interested in exploring yoga. This is a basics class that focuses on a flowing sequence of poses (asanas) linked with (Ujjayi) breath. Beginning Vinyasa creates awareness of breath and body and builds a foundation for a strong yoga practice.
Vinyasa Flow (All Levels): Vinyasa Flow is a flowing sequence of poses (asanas) linking your (Ujjyi) breathing with your movement. Ujjayi breathing concentrates and directs the breath, giving your poses control and focus. This practice creates a sinuous rhythm between breath, body, mind & heart resulting in an incredible moving & meditative workout.
Power Vinyasa: This dynamic and challenging vinyasa practice is ideal for people who enjoy a good sweat while turning inward and having fun. Experience vigor, balance and cardio in accord with one another while moving to modern, entertaining and, uplifting music. Connect with your breath, your body, and your edge!
Beginning Yin and Flow: This class is intended for those new to yin yoga and/or flow yoga. Modifications are offered and poses are sequenced to help build a loving, kind & safe yin/yang practice. This class is perfect for those who feel they are 'not flexible enough to do yoga' as a yin/yang yoga practice allows time to release the ‘shrink-wrap like effect' that connective tissue has on the bones, joints, and subsequently the muscles allowing overtime for the body to be more flexible. This class will leave you feeling balanced and restored.
Yin and Flow (All Levels): Yin & Flow helps restore equilibrium to your mind, body & spirit by focusing on breath-work (pranayama) & meditation; combining passive (yin) and active (yang/vinyasa flow) postures to deeply release the connective tissue as well as build & maintain muscle to keep your joints supple and your bones strong. A Yin & Flow practice not only increases your physical flexibility, it helps to cultivate a patient mind and love for yourself. You will feel the effects of this practice from the inside out!
Lunch Time Yin and Flow (All Levels): Lunch time Yin & Flow Yoga will leave you feeling relaxed and yet strengthened in only 45 minutes. Yin & Flow combines passive (yin) and active (yang/vinyasa flow) postures allowing the connective tissue to release tension keeping your body sturdy and lithe for the rest of the day!
