In the Yoga Sutra, Patanjali's Eight Limbed Path eloquently describes Yoga as the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind.   The eight limb path teaches us that non-violence toward others and ourselves (Ahisma) is the Yama (universal ethical principle) that all the Yamas and Niyamas (rules of personal conduct) are rooted in. Without the principle of Ahimsa for others & ourselves we suffer. Body (physical, mental, & spiritual) Investment (devoting or giving of energy for a purpose) Studio strives for the practice of Yoga, both on and off the mat, to inspire Ahimsa toward others & self.
